Todd Serulneck, Lancaster and Hall

Todd Serulneck is the founder and Managing Director of Lancaster & Hall, a Charlotte-based fractional CFO firm that helps owners and CEOs of mid-sized businesses bring clarity to cash flow, budgeting, and growth planning. Earlier in his career, Todd served as CFO of Walmart's Eastern Seaboard Division, where he partnered with operations leaders to grow sales 9% in four years, and saved more than $30 million annually in labor expense without hurting customer service. He also held finance leadership roles at Office Depot, including the forecast and consolidation of the North American retail division. He holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Columbia Business School. Todd's philosophy is simple: culture first, strategy second, execution third.

In this practical session, CFO Todd Serulneck walks through the meetings where financial results come up, the terms you're likely to hear, what they mean in plain English, and how to tell whether a number is good news or a red flag. No accounting background required.

Whatever your role or experience level, you'll learn to:

• Follow the financial conversation in leadership and staff meetings with confidence
• Understand the key terms and what they say about the health of the business
• Ask better questions and connect the numbers to the people side of your work

Location: The meeting will be in person and via Zoom.  You can attend in person at the Union County Chamber of Commerce if you are within the first 60 to register. A reminder email will be sent the day prior to the meeting and will contain the zoom link.
